It is 2021 and we are still in the Coronavirus pandemic. While everyone still does their best to social distance and wash their hands, some events are optimizing themselves in order to continue during the pandemic. Recently the Country Music awards have come out with their plan to have their show and they just might set the blueprint for other award ceremonies moving forward.

The award show is going to be formatted similarly to its 2020 showing. Instead of being held in one venue, the award show will take place in three different venues. The Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman auditorium, and Bluebird Cafe will all simultaneously host the show. All locations are in Nashville and will have various aspects of the show taking place in them. A limited live audience will be allowed at the Opry House and Ryman auditorium. Parts of the show will be live while others will be pre-recorded.

While definitely being different from previous iterations, we are excited to see one of our favorite awards shows make the changes necessary to still occur. Tune in on April 18th for the 56th annual Country Music Awards.
