With concerts being gone for the past year, music lovers are finding new avenues to connect and enjoy the artists they love with others. One of the more promising platforms for this is a new app called Turntable.

Turntable describes itself as a virtual music lounge. The app aims to be a shared space where DJs and casual listeners can go to enjoy music together. On the app, users can discover new music together, promote music, or even just dance. In addition, the app aims to be a place where music fans with similar taste can meet one another.

Even though it hasn’t launched yet, the app has some history behind it. The app’s development is being lead by Joseph Perla, the founder of the original Turntable app from 10 years ago. Fans of the older platform clamoring for another is one of the reasons Perla has decided to bring it back.

The pandemic has been on many people, including many in the music industry. However, it seems like we’re going to emerge out of this mess with lots of new music platforms to keep us busy moving forward. In addition to Turntable, be on the lookout for our own app Aux!
